二輪短夢想 Pour Lawrence of Arabia or Indiana Johnes.., Danforth-Broadview Toronto Aug 10 2008
Lawrence of Arabia, Colonel Lawrence, passed away of tragic bike accident.. dramatically enough. Indiana Johnes with his dad Sean Connery took the bike of similar shape with side car when they escaped from Berlin under Nazi in the movie. Steve McQueen tried similar version of German bike when he ran away from POW camp in the movie of 'The Great Escape'. Che used to enjoy bike riding backpacked with his passion for people in need for his journey to South America.. After the invention of the two wheeled fantasy of man, the bike has been acting as a man's own dream to be free from anything.. Brutal violence & murder in the scenes of 'The Outsiders' gave us somewhat tweaked aesthetics than just tragic case of murder.. The desert colored old English bike was more than enough for me to recall all the romantic memories of those beautiful men in history or in the movies..
